The Archeolympics, a primitve skills competition, is open to all visitors and is focused on families and friends having fun and learning about ancient lifeways. This is the only primitive skills triathlon in a Texas State Park.

Visitors who do not wish to compete are invited to enjoy educational programs with hands on demonstrations.

The Park also welcomes participation by Las Moras Frontier Living History: they will set up thier historic canvas tent to interpret the men and women of the frontier.
