Join us at the San Antonio Zoo for a Growing Up WILD Workshop as we connect young learners to the outdoors. Building upon their sense of wonder about nature, we will learn a wide range of activities that invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them.
During the four-hour training workshop participants will sample activities and receive a curriculum and activity guide and have a behind the scenes zoo encounter. Activities are designed for 3-7 year olds and are correlated to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards and the Head Start Domains. Anyone who works with children, including teachers, home-schoolers, informal educators and scout leaders are welcome. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Held at the San Antonio Zoo, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
$35 Pre-registration required, deadline July 16, 2014.
