The opening session will provide an introduction to the basics of plant identification and families of plants found in our area.
We’ll end this session with a walk to examine the earliest of the bloomers.
Additional dates consisting of in-the-field identification through the spring are as follows:
Wednesday, April 2, Wednesday, April 23 and Wednesday, May 21.
Each field session will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 1 p.m.
Be sure to bring water and a field guide as well as a magnifier or a pair of binoculars (which will serve as the same). We will have magnifiers for loan, as well as binoculars, if you need them.
These workshops are limited to 15 people. You may register for one or all of the sessions. If you are new to wildflower identification, it is suggested that you be sure to sign up for the first session.
