GOOD. Water stained; 70 degrees. Bastrop. Water temperatures are ranging from upper 60s to mid 70s. The water is cloudy with visibility around 2-3 feet. Bass have been good working the reeds and grass with weightless swimbaits and flukes. Creature baits have been good in similar areas. Senko style baits have been good is 8-10 feet of water in transition areas. Report by Jason Hernandez, Bass Institute of Bastrop. Bass are holding along and in the cane and reed patches.
