- GOOD. Water stained; 68 degrees; 8.95 feet below pool. Black bass to 8.48 pounds are excellent on jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits in 3-12 feet of water. Most of the bass are in a post spawn transition. Crappie are good in the cove pockets with black and chartreuse jigs, and in brush piles out to 10-12 feet on minnows. Some fish are spawning and a few post spawn. White bass are good on crankbaits and small swimbaits in the lights late in the day, and the bite is slow during the day. Catfish are good on cut or prepared bait around the flats
