GOOD. Water stained; 70 degrees; 33.35 feet below pool. Lots of newly submerged structures for fish to relate to. Bass are spawning in waves with some fish being caught in 3-5 feet of water flipping bushes along vertical hardwoods with a hard bottom, and in the backs of creek in 1-5 feet of water. Crappie are fair using a slip bobber with a jig at the backs of creeks in visible timber. Channel catfish are good in 5-10 feet of water along submerged bushes with a little shad or shrimp on a floating cork with 3 foot lead. Blue catfish are fair in the main lake, but good in the river using fresh cut shad, carp or tilapia. Alligator gar bow fishing is good, and rod-and-reel fishing with tilapia, carp or shad is good on the south side of the lake. Report by Ram Reyes, Ram Outdoors.
