Lake Record — April 13, 2013

This 12.54-pound largemouth bass, caught by Allen Lane Kruse of Nacogdoches, wasn't big enough to be an entry in the Toyota ShareLunker Program, but it did set a record for recently opened Lake Naconiche. The bass was released and will have an opportunity to grow larger: DNA tests say it's a descendant of ShareLunker #370, caught in 2004. Read this news release for the full story.
