PRESIDIO, Texas — On Nov. 20-22, Big Bend Ranch State Park invites guests to participate in the park’s fall digital photo workshop. Noted photographer Earl Nottingham and Bob Malish from Canon cameras will lead the digital photo workshop.
This digital camera workshop is designed for beginners to intermediate level photographers who want to understand and work with basic digital techniques, including composition, exposure and the different types of files that are used with digital photography. This event allows up to 20 visitors to learn the nut-and-bolts of digital photography and spend time doing group and individual location shooting at beautiful Big Bend Ranch State Park.
Nottingham has been chief photographer for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for nearly 13 years, and his photography has been featured in numerous state, regional and national publications, including National Geographic Traveler and Smithsonian.
The cost for the three-day event is $400, which includes park entry fees, lodging/camping fees, meals and the assistance of park rangers. Big Bend Ranch is located northeast of Presidio off Texas Highway FM 170.
